I'm making the bf a gift as a thank you for letting me crash at his place for the summer and when I was informed of the site, I asked him what he would want most on a t-shirt.

And the end result is this:


Nat Burton played for Georgetown during John's first two years here and he continues to hold him in very high regard, namely for a game against Arkansas in 2001. I'll spare you the details but John basically calls his 4 years of watching GTown baskeball as an undergrad "Generation Burton". He even wrote a series of columns for hoyasaxa.com to that effect.

So yeah. Now it's time to come up with a shirt for myself. Any suggestions?

And sadly in Washington, I don't get to do it a lot. I was kind of down about going over to Theodore Roosevelt Island but now I'm glad I did. It was a beautiful day and a very pleasant walk. I went there, I picked up Brian Wilson's "Smile" at Olsson's, had lunch at Baja Fresh and explored about Rosslyn.

And unlike yesterday, I remembered my camera and now have pictures of it all.

I've been itching for a creative outlet as of late and I think I've found what I'm looking for. I'm going to take all of you lovely people on a photographic tour of Georgetown. Periodically I'll post a few pictures from different parts of campus and when I'm finished, hopefully I can integrate my pictures into an interactive map. Georgetown is a beautiful place and I want all of you to be able to share in it.
