Oh my god West Wing.

OH. MY. GOD.

I love West Wing!

*****

In other news, I'm sick as a dog, fever and all. Luckily class is cancelled tomorrow but ugh, it's been a month already. I can't freaking take being sick anymore. The presentation went fine but I've felt like death on a triscuit ever since. Off to watch some DVD's and pass out.

I am so beyond excited that there's gonna be a sequel. I'm so gonna be first in line.

I'd do the tv characters one that [info]violettandblue is doing but most of you don't watch the same shows I do so yeah. I mean I talk about my favorite West Wing character all the time (and since he's in most of my icons, it's pretty obvious), but can you name my favorite Northern Exposure character? Or my favorite Degrassi character? Didn't think so.

Off to eat my well earned donuts.

Mitch is dead.

I will forever be in denial.

Why is it always the good ones?

But we know some good will come of this:

It's looking more and more as if it is true and I am absolutely devastated. I have loved this guy since his very first appearance on Letterman years ago. I cannot believe he's dead.

Rest In Peace Mitch

May you already be making them laugh in Heaven.

1. Georgetown beat CSU Fullerton 74-57 and will face the winner of UNLV/South Carolina in the next round of the NIT. And likely, the next game will be at South Carolina later this week.

The first half was MISERABLE for me because we were squished like sardines in the middle section. I got pushed out of my seat by a bunch of drunk girls so I ended up standing with Joe (who was staffing the game) and Jon Shoup on the opposite side of the arena and had a much better time during the second half.

2. TAR was good. Except next week...EVERYBODY DIES!

3. I GOT BRIDGET JONES: TEOR ON DVD TODAY! I decided when I skipped class to go down to FYE and pick it up. It was on sale for 20 bucks except I asked for the full screen version and they gave me wide screen damnit.

Pray for me on my midterm tomorrow morning. I'll need the help -_-

Letter time!

Dear West Wing writers,

The whole Castro thing? Please, stop, don't. Just don't. And what's with Kate's ultra shady past? Don't go all Season 5 on me again kids.

And for the love of god, BRING SAM BACK!

Love,
A disgruntled Sam lover

Dear Group Meetings,

Bite me. Seriously. Grab a fucking spoon. You're taking MY time now and that's not cool.

Mucho hate,
A GTown student NOT in the business school

Dear Tim Burton and Johnny Depp,

Why did you have to go remake Willy Wonka? It's a fucking masterpiece and now you want to mess with it and terrify small children. I don't like that.

Show Gene Wilder some love people.

No love,
Someone speaking for anyone who grew up between 1970 and 1990

Dear Dean Krogh,

You rock. Hardcore.

Lots of love,
A very grateful student

Dear Sead Dizdarevic,

Come here. I wanna fucking kiss you. You are so freaking cool. Serbia is love.

You made a 3!!!!!

Love and smiley faces,
A happy Hoya

Dear Easter break,

You cannot come soon enough.

Counting the days,
A girl missing her mommy and her puppy

So, it turns out that THIS (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/numa.php) kid, is from the Philly area.

http://www.nbc10.com/news/4208743/detail.html

And now there's a video of a whole classroom full of kids imitating him (http://www.big-boys.com/articles/myamya.html).

As Albino Blacksheep suggests, the variable to becoming an internet celebrity like this guy and the "Star Wars Kid" has clearly got to be weight.

Oh well. It's still really fucking funny though.

1. This cough refuses to go away -_-

2. http://maps.google.com/maps rocks my world.

3. I can't wait for the fight on TWW next week. I heard second-hand that there's rumor of a Sam appearance. Please god let this be true.

4. Except for an hour long class tomorrow, I basically have a 5 day weekend with not much work. WOOT.

5. I didn't expect Georgetown to win tonight really. But we better win at UConn. And we WILL win the other three games we have left. I'm sure of it.

129th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Group Winners

WORKING: Great Pyrenees
TERRIER: Norfolk Terrier
TOY: Pekingese
NON-SPORTING: Tibetan Terrier
SPORTING: German Shorthaired Pointer
HOUND: Bloodhound
HERDING: Border Collie

BEST IN SHOW 2005: German Shorthaired Pointer

Congrats to Carly (the winner), but I still feel Coco the Norfolk was ROBBED.

It's been another great year, another great show. Lester Holt - you're welcome to host Westminster for as long as you want cause you were definitely cool. And David Frei, even though you love Afghan Hounds, you still kick ass.

And this signals the end of my dog show geekiness posts. Until next February it is. WOOOOOT.

But tonight, is THE biggest night of the year on the show circuit. Tonight is:

Valentines Day

Is for stupid girls and highly whipped boys.

I'm spending my night at home watching the 129TH WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB DOG SHOW cause that is far more important to me than bad food, dead flowers or icky candy and stuffed animals.

And yes, I do have a boyfriend thanks. My mom buys me V-Day gifts, but that's cause she's her and she rocks.

I had a good time with my dad and my grandpa Saturday. Georgetown actually won a game that I was in the stands for (and not in the student section). We had a great dinner (with John too) at Bistro Francais - so great that we may switch my graduation dinner to there. So if any of you come to DC in May of 2006, get in on the party.

I'm still trying to shake the remnants of this cold. Ugh.

Off to do my listening assignment for History of Rock and watch the latest Degrassi ep.

When I thought that the fanfic world couldn't get any weirder, I find this:

http://www.livejournal.com/community/punditslash/

Featuring a story with Jon Stewart and Anderson Cooper getting a little too close for my comfort.

Some people need lives.

Then again, I'm all excited cause Westminster (!!!) is on Monday and USA Network FINALLY put up the website for it. I got a great computer wallpaper with a big old Irish Wolfhound on it. I'm just pissed cause they don't have the scoresheets they had last year up. Hopefully they'll put them up for Monday. Okay, I'm gonna stop talking about dog shows now.

I'm still riding the high from getting the job. Adios applications. I stopped in Foggy Bottom to see John on my way home and then he, Chris and I went out to dinner at Luna which is always good except the service sucked tonight. Oh well.

Lots of goodies coming tomorrow with Dad and Grandpa though. Yay. I just hope this cold goes away tonight though. Ugh -_-

1. I *heart* the Wawa.

Got to College Park no problem. Had a massive headache but that was cured by my classic and a half gallon as pictured.

2. Went to see Bishop Ireton (coached by Chuck Driesell - former GTown assistant coach and also alma mater of Mr. Jon Shoup-Mendizabal aka one of my favorite people ever) play Paul VI in basketball in Alexandria. Ireton was supposed to get their asses kicked but actually were never down more than 6 points and kept it a nail biter until the very end. Ireton ended up losing 47-45. And then the two teams had a mini-brawl at center court. It was a lot of fun and our student section could learn a lot from both schools' kids.

3. Went to dinner across the street at a place called Gorgeous George's Positive Pizza and Pasta and yes, that really is it's name. Good food, good times and I seriously was loving the huge drinks. Basically a regular sized soda is served in a 32 ounce pitcher. Rock on.

4. The WISH List all but got on their hands and knees to beg me to work for them. I'm gonna fill out the app this weekend and hopefully it'll be just a formality. The coordinator was so freaking nice to talk to. It would be freaking awesome to work there.

5. http://www.kristenkirchner.com/ is the website of the Apprentice contestant who looks like Chyna. I don't like her very much...here's hoping she's a man like Chyna is too.

Always a good time with my boys. Hopefully we can get our bowling and/or roller skating outings planned soon.

Pattie Boyd (sister of Jenny Boyd and former wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton and the inspiration for "Layla" and "Something") is having an exhibition of her photography at a gallery in San Francisco while I'm there. It's photographs from throughout her journeys and has lots of candids of the Beatles, Clapton, FM, etc.

I definitely cannot miss this. Rock on.

It's snowing...again. Doubt much will come of it. I'm just pissed that I haven't been able to get this Roosevelt Island trip over with. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday I guess.

To go along with the "Office Space" theme, I now have "Office Space" moods thanks to [info]zaneetas.

I'd post something, but things are really boring right now and I don't want to put you kids to sleep. Friday promises to have fun in store and I plan on taking lots of pictures too.

Must go sleep now. Yay.

Good weekend, surreal night

Varda (http://www.guhoyas.com/sports/w-baskbl/players/playervt.html), the big Russian girl on the women's bball team here, just asked if I could sign onto the print station computers next to the laundry room for her. Needless to say, a 6'4 foreign girl asking you to do anything is kinda weird so yeah.

Let's see what happened this weekend...

Friday: Read some, turned in my first paper of the tomorrow (which I get back tomorrow -_-), got "Office Space" cheap at FYE and hit up The Tombs.

Saturday: John's parents came to buy him furniture. I went over to his place and helped him assemble his new coffee table. Went to dinner at Red Sage <3333 (I had buffalo for dinner! Heh.) John caught a cold so I put him to bed early.

Sunday: Bummed around John's for awhile. His parents came over and cooked us dinner and just gave me a ride home.

All in all, a good time and I got to escape work for awhile which was nice. I wish more weekends were as free as this one. Anyways, next weekend should be fun too though. FRIDAY = WAWA FIELD TRIP!!!!! We're taking John and Jon for their first classic hoagies and half gallons. ::sniff sniff:: It's going to be a beautiful moment.

I'm listening to all the Partyline phone posts right now and laughing my ass off. +10 for you kids. WOOT.
