Mitch is dead.

I will forever be in denial.

It's looking more and more as if it is true and I am absolutely devastated. I have loved this guy since his very first appearance on Letterman years ago. I cannot believe he's dead.

Let us take a minute to smile and look slightly to the left, as if something important just happened over there...

I've been asleep for the past 3 hours and I never sleep. I feel like I did when I had an irregular heartbeat over Christmas. So I called my dad. He said I'm probably just overtired or am coming down with something, but to basically take things easy for the next few days and keep an eye out for myself. So there's that.

His friend Bill came through and I get to meet with a former Ambassador on Friday who will hopefully give me some advice on how to get into the State Department. WOOT.

And his friend Jean came through to get me an interview for my Women In American Politics paper, a councilmember in Montgomery County, MD (one of the wealthiest counties in America).

So yeah, this week, too busy.
